Hannah Yourd - Director of Member Services
Hannah graduated from Grinnell College in 2009 with a degree
in Biology and Environmental Studies. One of the highlights of her college
experience was spending a semester in South Africa where she studied savanna
ecology and wildlife management in Kruger National Park. After graduating
from Grinnell, she spent a summer doing forest inventory in Wisconsin and
Minnesota with the Student Conservation Association and Army Corps of Engineers.
Hannah began working for NNRG in 2010 through the AmeriCorps program and now
serves as the Director of Member Services. Hannah is currently pursuing a
certificate in Geographic Information Science from the University of Washington
and hopes to leverage her GIS experience to analyze spatial relationships in
the certified wood supply chain. Hannah is based in Seattle and enjoys backpacking and classical music in her spare time.
