Chad Davis

ChadforwebChad is the Director of the Forest Stewardship Program for Sustainable Northwest, a regional non-profit that works at the intersection between natural resource conservation and economic development in rural communities of the Northwest. Chad manages an FSC Group Chain of Custody that provides access to green building markets for small businesses. Chad is a regional leader in federal and state policy related to biomass energy; he is the co-chair of the Biomass and Energy Working Group of the Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition and also co-chairs the Oregon Forest Biomass Working Group. His experience includes working as a Faculty Research Assistant in the College of Forestry at Oregon State University and several positions in the forest products industry. Chad holds a Master's in Forestry from the University of Tennessee and a BA in Environmental Policy and Science from Duke University.
