Three New Preferred Providers Expand NCF's Geography & Focus

This spring Integrated Resource Management, Call of the Wild Woodland Management, and Belt Collins Northwest have been approved for NCF's Preferred Provider network.

Having high quality service providers that understand FSC standards, carbon verification, sustainable development, and other conservation driven markets is essential to the success of individual Northwest Certified Forestry members and other woodland owners with a strong interest in conservation markets and local economies.

This spring we added three new companies to our Preferred Provider network - two forestry companies and one environmental consulting firm. New additions include:

  • Darin Stringer and Marc Barnes of Integrated Resource Management (IRM) in Philomath - IRM is a full service forestry firm with a special emphasis on conservation management. Their client base includes a wide range of landowners, from private lands, to conservation groups, to state and other public lands. See www.irmforestry.com for contact details and more information.
  • Judy Swank of Call of the Wild Woodland Management in the Methow Valley - Judy is a long time Eastside forester, working for both the Forest Service and private landowners. For the last several years she has worked closely with the Methow Forest Owners' Cooperative helping landowners with management plans, harvest management, cost share programs, and other projects. Judy can be reached at 509-923-1965 or by email.
  • Ellen Southard of Belt Collins Northwest in Seattle - Belt Collins Northwest is the regional affiliate of a global sustainable design firm, Belt Collins. Their expertise includes environmental consulting, landscape architecture and planning, and civil engineering. Please see their website for contact details and more information.
