NNRG offers expert advice tailored to your forest’s unique needs

Western Washington is experiencing a shift in climate—warmer temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and increasing wildfire risks. These changes affect the health of forests, placing stress on trees, and increasing threats from insects, disease, and fire.

As leaders in ecological forestry, NNRG offers educational site visits to help forest landowners and producers adapt to these challenges. During a visit, you’ll receive personalized guidance from NNRG staff on strategies to enhance forest health and productivity.

Who qualifies for these site visits?
Our free educational site visits are designed for forest landowners in western Washington (within ~60 miles of Seattle or Tacoma) who are interested in improving the conditions of their forests.

How do I request one?
To request a site visit, fill out our interest form below. An NNRG staff member will follow up to discuss your forest and potential scheduling options.

While NNRG provides consulting services to landowners interested in a range of forest stewardship activities, these site visits do not come with any obligation to work with NNRG on any recommended stewardship projects.

These free site visits are made possible by funding from the Extension Risk Management Education Competitive Grants Program (RME). The awarding agency is the US Department of Agriculture, federal award number 20237002740445.
